2012-13: Earned All-MAC Second Team honors for the first time in his career...Ranked 148th nationally in the 200 fly; also cracked the top-250 in the 100 fly (247th)...Was the Bears' lone representative in the 100 fly championship heat; stayed put in fifth place with a career best time of 49.17...One of very few swimmers to pull 100 fly-100 back double during Friday's prelims; was .04 seconds shy of a top-8 finish in the 100 back; registered career best 50.11 in prelims; finished 11th in the evening's B-Final...Medaled for the first time in career with a third-place finish in the 200 fly; moved into third all-time in MSU history in the 200 fly with his A-Final time of 1:48.48...Swam the butterfly leg on both the Bears' second-place medley relays at conference...Recognized as MAC Swimmer of the Week (Dec. 19) for stellar outing at the UIW Invitational where he swam a personal best in the 200 fly to capture runner-up honors; also finished seventh in the A-Final of the 100 fly...Picked up a pair of 200 fly victories against Drury and SIU/Air Force; also won the 200 back at Evansville...Landed a spot on the Academic All-MAC First Team; was one of three Bears to earn first-team distinction.

2011-12: Swam two events on the second day of the 2012 MAC Championships; Finished 18th in the 100 fly timed final (50.49); finished 11th in the 100 back timed final (51.25)...Captured his first top-eight finish at the conference meet in the 200 fly with sixth place (1:49.48); Only .18 seconds separated third and sixth place...During the dual meet season, he won the 200 fly on three different occasions: vs. SIU (10/15), at Truman State (1/14) and vs. Evansville (1/27)...Also took home first place in the 500 free vs. Lindenwood (11/4)...Finished on the season's top times list in the 100 back (3rd), 100 fly (3rd) and 200 fly (2nd).

Background: Came to Missouri State from West Monroe High School and the City of Shreveport Swim Team...Was conference champion multiple times in the 100 fly; also broke the conference meet record in the event...Was Louisiana state champion in the 100 fly as a junior; also finished third at state in the 200 IM his junior season...Received numerous academic awards as a student at West Monroe including Senior of Distinction.
