2012 U.S. Olympic Trials: Kicked off his Olympic Trials debut in Omaha, Neb. with a lifetime best in the 100-meter back (56.59); Was originally seeded 93rd, but skyrocketed up the rankings to 38th place; Dropped .72 seconds off his previous best; Was just 1.10 seconds behind the 16th-place finisher who advanced to the semifinals...In the 200 back, Le finished 58th out of 107 swimmers; Was originally seeded 70th.
2011-12: Earned all-MAC first team honors...Named MSU Male Swimmer of the Year and MSU Freshman Male Swimmer of the Year, along with Vitalii Baryshok...Finished 60th nationally in the 100 back...Finished 51st nationally in the 200 back...Finished 116th nationally in the 200 IM...Achieved NCAA 'B' cuts in the 100 back, 200 back and 200 IM...Was one of four MSU male swimmers to garner CollegeSwimming.com Mid-Major All-American honorable mention status...Was member of the 200 free relay (5th), 400 medley relay (3rd), 200 medley relay (3rd) and 400 free relay (2nd) at conference...Started off the 2012 MAC Championships with a personal best in the 200 IM prelims; Scored a bronze medal in the event...Recorded another individual third-place finish in the 100 back (48.39)...Teamed up with Yuri Garanito to take two of the top four spots in the 200 back; Finished third (1:44.89) and swam a career best in the prelims (1:44.59)...During the dual meet season, he won the 200 back and 100 free twice, along with victories in the 200 free, 100 back, 100 breast and 500 free...Was named TYR Invitational Swimmer of the Meet after locking up wins in the 50 and 200 back...Took home the title in the 75 and 150 back at the Show-Me Showdown.
