Background: Sarah Junghans will compete in the water for the Bears after being a member of the Missouri State track and field team in 2003 and 2004. She was a multi-talented high school athlete competing in track, softball and basketball for the Hillsboro Hawks. She was an all-state winner in high jump as a senior, placing eighth in the 4A state championship.
