2014-15 Season (Junior): Missed first half of season after battling injuries in fall ... Made first appearance at the Texas A&M Double Dual (Jan. 8) ... Finished eighth in the 100 backstroke and was a member of the Bears' top-placing 400 freestyle relay team against the nationally-ranked Aggies and Tennessee Volunteers ... Competed and had three season-best times at the Mid-American Conference Championship ... Advanced to the B-finals in all three events ... Overall placed 11th in the 50 freestyle (20.74), 12th in the 200 backstroke (1:49.96) and 14th in the 100 back (50.08) ... Also a member of MSU's 200 freestyle relay A-finals squad that placed fifth at the MAC Championships ... Continuously topped times during season ... Top time of year in 100 back previously set at `Duel in the Pool' at Drury (Jan. 22), while improved times in the 200 back at Missouri S&T and the Shamrock Invitational ... Had top-three times in two events for the Bears.
2013-14 Season (Sophomore): Named to the Capital One Academic All-District At-Large Team as voted on by the College Sports Information Directors of America ... All-MAC Second Team and MAC All-Academic honoree ... Helped set a pool record time of 1:19.84 in the 200 free relay at the MAC championships ... One of four Bears to qualify for finals in the 100 back ... Also won the consolation final of the 50 free (20.62) .... Member of 200 free relay that won event at Shamrock Invitational ... Part of 100 free relay winning squad against Colorado Mesa ... Swam 50 back in time of 23.50 to win consolation final of event at the TYR Invitational on Northwestern campus ... Season-best 20.86 in third-place finish of 50 free ... Also contributed in runner-up finishes in the 200 free relay at the TYR Invite and Missouri Show-Me Showdown.
2012-13 Season (Freshman): Landed a spot on the All-MAC Second Team in his first season with the Bears ... Had a breakout meet at the 2013 MAC Championships, placing top-eight in all three individual events ... Knocked .86 seconds off previous best in 50 free prelims (20.41) to secure the No. 2 seed for finals; highest finisher for the Bears in fourth place (20.61) ... Raced to the fourth-fastest time (49.57) in 100 back prelims on Day 2, shaving nearly 2 seconds off season best; finished seventh overall at 49.86 in finals ... Closed out MAC Championship debut with a 5-second drop in the 200 back prelims (1:47.60); finished eighth overall ... Earned a spot on the Bears' second-place 200 free relay; split 20.10 as the second leg of the relay ... Cracked Missouri State's all-time top-five in the 200 back at No. 4 ... Finished the season among the Bears' top-five swimmers in the 50 free (2nd), 100 back (3rd) and 200 back (3rd).
