2014-15 Season (Junior): Named an All-MAC First Team selection … Won first individual conference title with a MAC record and ‘B’ standard 53.85 in the 100 breaststroke at the Mid-American Conference Championships … Finished fifth in the 200 breaststroke A-finals (1:59.04) … Part of 200 medley relay squad that topped MSU and MAC best times ever on opening day of MAC Championships in first-place finish (1:26.79) … Also a member of gold-medal winning 400 medley relay squad that broke the school-, pool- and conference-record time (3:10.56) on the final day of competition … Won individual events during season in the 200 breast at Southern Illinois (Oct. 11) and vs. Denver (Oct. 24), while also winning the 100 breast against Denver … Member of 200 medley relay squad that broke Kansas’ Robinson Natatorium record with a time of 1:32.30 (Oct. 24) … Won relay events over two-day span at Evansville (Oct. 10) and Southern Illinois … Finished with top-five finishes in the 100 and 200 breast at both the Texas A&M Double Dual and Shamrock Invitational … Ended season with squad’s fastest time in the 100 breast and second fastest in the 200.
2013-14 Season (Sophomore): All-MAC Second Team and MAC All-Academic honoree ... Honorable mention on College Swimming Coaches Association of America Men's Individual Scholar All-America team ... Runner-up at the MAC championships in both the 100 breast (54.24) and the 200 breast (1:58.22) ... Helped break conference and school records in the 200 medley relay (1:26.93) and the 400 medley relay (3:10.95) at the Mac championships ... Broke pool records in dual meets at Evansville (100 breast, 55.89) and Missouri (400 medley relay, 3:15.55) ... Won events in the 200 breast at Southern Illinois and the Oklahoma Splash Bash ... Set a school-record and claimed NCAA consideration time in event at TYR Invitational with at ime of 1:58.44 ... Set pool-record 25.97 time at Oklahoma Splash Bash in 50 breast ... 2012-13 Season (Freshman): Landed a spot on the All-MAC Second Team in his first season with the Bears ... Finished just outside of the top-100 nationally in both the 100 breast (113th) and 200 breast (114th) ... Recorded NCAA consideration times in the 100 and 200 breast ... Entered the 2013 MAC Championships with the league's top mark in the 100 breast and second-fastest 200 breaststroke time ... During Friday's prelims, secured top seed for 100 breast championship final (54.92); edged by EMU's Mike Fisher for the title by .19 seconds, but bettered prelims time by three hundredths ... Collected second top-five finish of the conference championship with fifth place in the 200 breast; added another career best in the championship finals (1:59.69) ... Swam the breaststroke leg of both Missouri State second-place medley relays; had the fastest split of any team in the 200 medley (24.91) and 400 medley relay (53.97) ...
