2014-15 Season (Senior): Served as member of gold-medal winning 800 freestyle relay team at Mid-American Conference Championships with school-, pool- and conference-record time of 6:28.05 … Also helped Bears earn first in the 400 free relay and fifth on ‘A’ 200 freestyle team … Finished an individual-best fifth in the 50 freestyle with a career-best 20.36 at the MAC meet … Earned a personal mark of 1:37.50 in preliminaries of 200 free to qualify for A-finals and made B-finals in the 100 freestyle … Got second in the 100 free at the Show-Me Showdown (Oct. 3) and third in duals against Evansville (Oct. 11) and Denver (Nov. 24) … Placed third in the 200 free at Missouri (Oct. 31) and in the 50 free vs. Denver … Had several season-bests at the Louisville Invitational (Nov. 21-23), including in the 200 backstroke which he finished seventh in the A-finals … Competed in multiple ‘A’ relays for the Bears, primarily in the 200 free or 400 medley … Helped break Kansas’ Robinson Natatorium 200 free relay record in the 200 free with a time of 1:22.71 … Finished season with top-four times in three events for the Bears, including the second fastest in the 50 free.
2013-14 Season (Junior): Member of 800 free relay team that finished first at the MAC championships ... Relay team swam a school-record time of 6:30.68 ... Placed second in the consolation finals at the MAC championships in the 50 free with a time of 20.77 ... Part of 200 free relay squad that finished second at the Missouri Show-Me Showdown ... Set a pool record in the 400 free relay at Southern Illinois (3:02.58) ... Individually won a 200 free crown by touching in at 1:45.42 in a dual against Truman State.
2012-13 Season (Sophomore): Placed top-16 in all three individual events at the MAC Championships, including two A-Final appearances ... Finished just outside of the top-10 in the 50 free (11th) on Day 1 ... Kicked off Day 2 with an impressive prelims swim in the 200 free, qualifying with a lifetime best 1:38.72; earned eighth-place points in finals ... Swam a career best in the 100 free championship finals; finished ahead of Eastern Michigan pair in sixth place (45.22) ... Was a member of the gold medal 800-free relay on Day 2 of conference that set a new school record along the way; also swam on the Bears' third-place 400 free relay on the final day...Won the 200 freestyle in MSU's dual at Missouri S&T (Jan. 25) ... Finished among the Bears' top-five swimmers this season in the 50 free (5th), 100 free (3rd), 200 free (4th) and 100 breast (5th) ... 2011-12 Season (Freshman): Swam on the Bears' second-place 400 free relay to conclude the 2012 MAC Championships ... Broke the 21-second barrier for the first time in his career in the prelims of the 50 free at the conference meet; Registered a 20.82 in both prelims and the consolation finals to finish 15th...Was .05 seconds away from 16th place and a spot in the B-Final of the 100 free; swam a career best (45.66) on third day of the MAC Championships ... During the dual meet season, he won the 50 free vs. Lindenwood (11/4) and at Truman State (1/14)...Also won the 200 free at Lindenwood (1/21) ... Finished on the season's top times list in the 50 free (4th), 100 free (4th) and 200 free (3rd).
