2012-13: Named to the 2013 All-MVC First Team in her first season with the Bears...Tabbed MSU Female Freshman Swimmer of the Year...Qualified for the championship final in all three individual events at the 2013 MVC Championships...Moved up two spots from prelims to take fifth in the 200 IM (2:06.99) on Day 1; dropped more than 3 seconds off previous season best...Registered highest finish at conference with a third-place finish in the 100 fly (56.71); less than .25 seconds separated Simcox and sixth-place competitor...Concluded her MVC Championship debut with another fifth-place performance, this time in the 200 fly (2:03.74)...Made her way onto the Bears' all-time top-five list in the 100 and 200 fly at No. 4...Won the 200 fly at MSU's Senior Day dual versus Truman State...Finished the season among the Bears' top-five swimmers in the 100 fly (2nd), 200 fly (4th) and 200 IM (5th).
