She captured medalist honors in the 200 fly with a time of 2:06.04. The time also placed her second in school history books in the event. Individually, Hollar finished fourth in the 100 fly and eighth in the 200 IM at the Valley meet. Hollar swam the anchor leg of the 800 free relay for the second consecutive year, which finished second in 2008. 2006-07: Hollar swam the anchor leg of the 800 free relay that captured a second-place finish at the conference meet. Hollar took fourth in the 200 fly and ninth in the 200 free. She was placed on the All-MVC honorable mention team. Background: Hollar joined Missouri State after competing four years for the Kingwood (Texas) High School Mustangs. Hollar helped guide the Mustangs to district and regional championships four years in a row. Her senior year she led her team to a fourth-place Texas state finish. Hollar was awarded all-state honors her junior and senior seasons. In her junior campaign, Hollar was awarded All-America honors for the 400-yard freestyle relay.
