Background: Reichard comes to Missouri State after two years at Fort Scott (Kan.) Community College. While at Fort Scott, she was named to the 2012 All-Kansas Community College Academic Team as well as the 2012 All-USA Community College Academic Team. In high school, Reichard attended Providence Christian Academy in Denair, Calif. As a junior, the Nevada, Mo. native competed at the 2009 Southern California Grand Prix of Swimming meet in Long Beach, Calif. Her freshman year in California, she was a member of the Pacific All-Star Team. Reichard excelled in the classroom at Providence Christian Academy where she was accepted into the National Society of High School Scholars and earned second place in the First Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Creativity Contest.

Personal: Glory Dawn Reichard is the daughter of Daryl and Erlinda Reichard. She was born February 23, 1992 in Mounment Valley, Utah and has three siblings: Grace, Melody and Chosen. Her father, Daryl, ran on the Kansas State University cross country and track & field teams for two years and also coached the track team at Humboldt State University for a shot period of time. Glory plans to major in biology and attend graduate school to pursue a doctorate in physical therapy.
