2012-13: Named All-MVC Honorable Mention as a freshman...Helped the Bears sweep the top four spots in the 200-yard breaststroke with fourth place (2:20.24); cruised to a 2:18.88 in prelims and cracked the Bear's all-time top-five in the event at No. 5...Narrowly missed out on the 100 breast A-Final, but bounced back to win consoles with a time of 1:05.73...Swam the 200 IM (2:14.42) on Day 1 and shaved three seconds off her career best...Qualified for the 200 breast B-Final at both the Purdue Invitational and UIW Christmas Invitational...Finished the season among the Bears' top-five swimmers in the 100 breast (4th) and 200 breast (4th).

Personal: Olivia May Gean is the daughter of Roy and Rose Gean...Born on May 2, 1994 in Fort Smith, Ark....Has four siblings: Tim, Donna, Elizabeth and Roy...Comes from a great athletic blood line as her father swam at the University of Missouri; Tim ran cross country at Allen County Community College and Elizabeth participated in track & field/cross country at Lee University and Arkansas Tech...Plans to major in finance at Missouri State.
