At Missouri State: Kara Fryman enters her senior season as one of the top breaststrokers on the Missouri State squad.
2009-10:Fryman cracked the season top five in both of the breaststroke events. Her times of 1:08.11 in the 100-yard and 2:31.92 in the 200-yard were fourth and fifth, respectively. Fryman set personal bests in every event she competed in as a junior...2008-09:Sether season best times of the season in the 2009 MVC conference tournament in the 100-yard Breaststroke (1:07.90), 200-yard breaststroke (2:30.08) and 200-yard Individual Medley (2:11.25)...2007-08: Fryman was third best breaststroker on the Missouri State squad her freshman year. She finished seventh in the 200 IM at the conference meet. Fryman also swam both breaststroke events finishing eighth and 11th in the 100 and 200, respectively. For her performance at the conference meet, she was awarded All-MVC honorable mention. Fryman was also listed on the MSU Academic Honor Roll. Background: Kara Fryman came to Missouri State as a three-time USA Swimming Academic All-American for Parkway South High School. She was the Rockwood Swim Club senior captain her senior year and junior captain her junior year. As a senior, Fryman was a St. Louis all-metro and Speedo H.S. all-american selection. In 2006, she was a member of the state champion 200 free relay team. Personal: Full name is Kara Elizabeth Fryman. Born May 2, 1989, in St. Louis County, Mo. Daughter of Michael and Sandy Fryman.
