2009-10: Ducourneau continued to improve upon his already impressive career. At the MAC Championship, he placed fourth on the three-meter board (346.15) and eighth on the one-meter board (268.55). He also returned to the NCAA Zone "D" Diving Championships, where he placed 16th in the one-meter (524.55) and 14th in the three-meter (602.65). 2008-09: At the Lindenwood Quad, Ducourneau broke his own school record in both the one-meter (352.69) and three-meter dives (406.70)...competed in the 2009 NCAA Zone "D" Diving Championships, where he placed 15th overall on both the one-meter and three-meter boards...

2007-08: Ducourneau developed into one of the top divers in the Sun Belt. He was named the Bears' Diver of the Year and was one of 13 divers selected from the region to dive in the NCAA Zone "D" Championships. He finished second and third at conference in the one-meter and three-meter diving events, respectively. For his performance, he was a two-time SBC Medallion winner.

Background: Eric Ducourneau came to Missouri State after placing 15th at the Canadian Senior Nationals in 2007. He was a seven-time Quebec Honneur au Merite award winner. Ducourneau helped lead the Pointe-Claire Diving Club to a second place finish as the Canadian Senior Nationals. In 2003, he broke two 14-year-old John Dickinson Invitational records on the one-meter board and on the platform.
