2009-10: In the demanding individual medleys, Case's versatility came through in the Mid-American Conference meet. He finished in the top ten in both the 200-yard IM (1:53.44, 10th) and the 400-yard IM (4:01.81, 9th). Both times earned him third on the 2009-10 top five list in their respective events. Additonally, Case's time of 2:10.32 in the 200-yard breaststroke at the MAC Championship was fourth on the season's top five...

Background: Case joins the Bears after swimming under the direction of Mike Soderling, head coach of the Lawrence Aquahawks, one of the most successful club programs in the Midwest. Case was a Junior National qualifier in the 200 and 400 IM and competed in the national meet held in Orlando, Fla. He was also a sectional championship finalist in several events and will add much needed depth to the IM and breaststroke groups for the Bears.

Personal: Cameron Sawyer Case was born on July 23, 1991 in Lawrence, Kan. Cameron is the son of Collier and Sue Case. He has one sister, Taylor.
