2011-12: Received the Darin Kent Spirit Award along with Melissa Oishi...Was a member of the 400 medley relay (3rd) and 200 medley relay (3rd) at the 2012 MAC Championships...Placed 12th and was the Bears' top finisher in the 100 fly timed final at the MAC meet in Oxford, Ohio...Finished fourth at conference with MSU's fastest time of the season in the 200 fly (1:49.35); only .18 seconds separated third and sixth place...Swam a personal best (21.32) in the 50 free prelims at the conference meet...Finished second in the 200 fly at the UIW Christmas Invitational...Tallied a second-place finish and was the top qualifier in prelims in the 100 fly at the TYR Invitational.
2010-11: Kicked off 2011 MAC Championships with a 13th-place finish in the 200 IM (1:54.02)...Swam the butterfly leg of the 200 and 400 medley relays that both finished fourth...Made a splash in the butterfly events at conference, placing sixth in the 100 (49.38) and turning in one of MSU's top performances with a second-place finish in the 200 (1:48.58); the 1:48.58 was just .50 seconds off of NCAA 'B' cut...Named to the 2010-11 all-MAC second team.
Background: A ten-time medalist in the Polish National Meet, two of which were gold-medal performances.
