2012-13: Named to the 2013 All-MVC First Team for the first time in her career...Ranked 198th nationally in the 200 breast...Cracked the Bears' top-five all-time performer s list at No. 3 with her 100 and 200 breaststroke times from the 2013 MVC Championships...Recorded one of the biggest drops by any MSU swimmer at conference; shaved off seven seconds from her previous career best in the 200 breast...Picked up bronze in the 200 breast (2:17.03) and was a part of Missouri State's 1-2-3-4 finish that produced 68 points...Rounded out the top three in the 100 breast (1:03.84) in Carbondale; gave the Bears a 1-2-3 sweep in the event...Swam a personal best in the 200 IM (2:12.84) on Day 1 of the conference meet...Made the B-Final in the 100 and 200 breast at the Purdue Invitational; finished 16th in both...Placed fifth at the Show-Me Showdown in the 100 and 200 breaststroke events...Earned MVC Scholar-Athlete honors in her first season eligible for the award.
2011-12: Entered as an exhibition swimmer at the 2012 MVC Championships...Swam a season best in the 100 breast at conference; her time in prelims (1:06.11) would have qualified her for the A-Final in the event...Shaved off three seconds from her seed time in the 100 fly at the MVC meet...Recorded a lifetime best in the 200 breast (2:24.29) at the 2012 MVC Championships; Had the sixth-fastest time during the Sunday preliminaries...Finished on the season's top times list in both breaststroke events: 100 breast (3rd) and 200 breast (3rd).
Background: Spent last three years swimming at Staley (Mo.) High School in Kansas City for head coach Robert Barth...Rated by CollegeSwimming.com as the 11th-best swimmer in the state of Missouri...Was a two-time all-state performer in the 100 breast...As a senior, the Staley captain turned in a time of 1:07.24 in the 100 breast for sixth place at the 2011 MSHSAA State Swimming Championships...As a junior she finished sixth in the championship finals (1:07.66)...Was a two-time KC Star all-Metro team selection...Also named to the all-state honorable mention team in the 200 medley and 200 free relays...A USA Swimming sectional qualifier in the 100 breast, 200 breast and 200 IM.
