Assistant Director of Strength and Conditioning
Jeremiah Frey enters his fifth year on the Missouri State staff and begins his first as director of strength and conditioning for the 17 MSU intercollegiate sport programs.
Frey is a 2004 graduate of Central College in Pella, Iowa, where he earned his bachelor's degree in exercise science/health promotion. He served as a student assistant strength coach his senior year at Central before continuing his academic career at Illinois State, where he served as a graduate assistant strength and conditioning coach while earning a master's degree in kinesiology and recreation.
Frey also spent four years at Cornell College as the strength and conditioning coordinator, where he oversaw the college's 19 varsity teams. He is certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association, the American College of Sports Medicine, USA Weightlifting and the American Red Cross.
A native of Madrid, Iowa, Frey and his wife, Claire, reside in Springfield with their son, Ryker.
