Deb Dishman

Position: Asst. Dir. of Athletics for Business Administration

Deb Dishman begins her first full year as assistant director of athletics for business administration.

Dishman had spent the last three years as a financial aid counselor on the MSU campus in Springfield. In that capacity, she worked with Moats and the MSU Athletics staff monitoring student-athlete scholarships and grants, disbursing scholarship payments and stipends, and ensuring compliance with NCAA and Federal guidelines.

Dishman earned her bachelor of science in education from Missouri State in 2007 after serving four years on the MSU swimming and diving squad under former coach Jack Steck. She was the co-captain of the Bears 2007 squad.

She went on to earn her masters of accountancy from MSU in 2008 while serving as a graduate assistant in the University's Office of Financial Aid. She spent eight months working for BKD, LLP in Springfield as a tax accountant before returning to the University in October 2009.

The former Deb O'Neal is a native of Billings, Mo. She and her husband David live in Springfield and have two-year-old twins, Hattie and Drake.
