General Manager, Nelligan Sports Marketing

Frank Cuervo begins his first full year at Missouri State after being named general manager for Nelligan Sports Marketing, Inc., this past February.

Cuervo leads the department's sales efforts, overseeing a staff of two full-time and several student employees with a focus on managing inventory and building client relations.

Prior to his appointment with Nelligan, Cuervo spent a year and a half as the associate athletic director for external affairs at Southeast Missouri State. Cuervo joined the Redhawks administrative staff after serving as general manager and assistant vice president for ISP Sports, working with the Northern Illinois University Sports Network. Previously, he completed a three-year stint as assistant director of athletics for external operations at Indiana, where he managed the department's marketing, ticketing and media relations efforts, as well as a stop at Missouri, where he served as director of marketing and promotions from 2001-05. Cuervo began his career in Division I athletics as a marketing coordinator at Ohio State in 1999, before moving on to Bowling Green State as assistant A.D. for marketing and sales.

A 1997 graduate of the University of Florida with a bachelor's degree in marketing and public relations and a minor in finance, Cuervo and his wife, Michelle, reside in Springfield.
