Originally from Wautoma, Wis., Tim Bohn is a 2006 cum laude honors graduate of Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, Ill., with an undergraduate degree in communications with an emphasis in media. He earned his master's in sport management at NIU in May 2008. He was named the NIU Communications Studies Outstanding Major in 2006 and later earned the Graduate Student Service to PRSSA Award in 2007.
Bohn worked for the Major League Soccer franchise Chicago Fire in the spring of 2008, handling a large portion of the team's media relations, publications and communications duties. He has additional collegiate sports information experience at NIU where he was a student assistant from 2005-07 and worked with several sports programs.
Proficient in graphic design, web technology and web software, his primary responsibilities at Missouri State will include oversight and expansion of web applications for the University's athletics web site www.missouristatebears.com. He also spearheads MSU's online game day video streaming initiative and assists Assistant Director of Athletics for Communications Rick Kindhart in the expansion of the web presence for MSU's 16 intercollegiate programs.
Tim and his wife, Andrea, were married in May, 2008.
