Ben Adamson has served as Assistant Director of Athletics Communications at Missouri State since August 2006. He has worked with three of MSU's premier programs during his tenure, covering volleyball since 2006, women's basketball since the 2011-12 season, and working with baseball from 2007-11, while providing support for each of MSU's additional 14 varsity sports during that time.

Adamson has worked with seven NCAA Tournament teams, two Missouri Valley Conference regular-season champions, and two MVC Tournament championship teams in his time at MSU, while promoting 11 All-Americans and three Academic All-Americans.

Prior to coming to Missouri State, Adamson worked as a sports information intern at former MVC member Creighton University during the 2005-06 school year, covering baseball, women's soccer, tennis and crew. He also worked on the ESPN Television crew at the 2006 College World Series in Omaha.

Originally from Stillwater, Okla., Adamson earned his general business degree from Oklahoma State University in 2005, where he was also a student assistant in the Media Relations Department for four years. He was the primary contact for OSU's cross country, track and field, and men's tennis teams during his tenure, and served on the host media relations crew for the 2003 NCAA Men’s Basketball and 2003 NCAA Men’s Golf Championships.

Adamson resides in Springfield with his wife, Jennifer.
