SPRINGFIELD -- Missouri State University is introducing an exclusive organization for its athletics alumni, the Bears Varsity Club.

The club's mission is to keep former MSU student-athletes connected to the University and involve them as active participants in the Missouri State athletics family. 

Membership in the Bears Varsity Club is FREE, and it will have its benefits. Former student-athletes will receive one free season ticket to all football, volleyball, men's and women's basketball, baseball and softball games each season. In addition, members who are not previous Missouri State letter winners (team managers, athletic trainers, spirit squad members, etc.) will have the chance to purchase tickets at a discounted rate. All members will receive invitations to exclusive social and special athletic events throughout the year.

The Bears Varsity Club is open to former members of all Missouri State intercollegiate programs, including programs that are no longer active.

Members will also be given the chance to mentor current student-athletes and gain recognition through a variety of awards. Membership also grants former student-athletes the opportunity to assist with employment, offer internships and reunite with former teammates.
