Missouri State University

Missouri State will host a Meet the Bears and Women's Football University on Thursday, August 28 at Plaster Field in Springfield.

The Women's Football University, hosted by Head Coach Terry Allen's wife Lynn, will begin at 5 p.m. with a tailgating party in Lot 22, followed by the Women's Football University in the press box at 6 p.m., and the Meet the Bears function on the field, starting at 7:15 p.m.

The Women's Football University is free, but the pre-game tailgating meal is $7 per person. Attendees will receive a media guide, poster and game-day information. Please RSVP to Kathy Daniels in the Bears Football office at (417) 836-5343 or email bearsfootball@missouristate.edu to reserve your spot in the women's football clinic.

The Meet the Bears function will get underway with a mock football game at 6 p.m. in conjunction with the Women's Football University instruction.  Free pizza and soda for all will be served at 6:30 p.m., followed by the 7:15 Meet the Bears on the field at 7:15 p.m.  Meet the Bears is free, and open to students, fans and parents.

Meet the Bears will also give fans the opportunity to meet the players and coaches, get autographs, and get pictures of your favorite Bears.
