SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - Missouri State University head coach Keith Guttin announced the Bears' 2015-16 Winter Baseball Camp schedule Tuesday (Nov. 3), and the MSU coaching staff is now accepting applications for six different two-day clinics, as well as a four-week strength and conditioning camp, to be held at the Bill Rowe Training Facility at Hammons Field.
Guttin and assistant coach Nate Thompson will serve as lead instructors for the Hitting Camps. The Pitching/Catching Camps focus on the fundamentals of pitching and catching, led by Bears' pitching coach Paul Evans, as well as several area high school coaches and current and former Missouri State professional players.
Additionally, the Bears will offer an eight-session Speed, Strength and Agility Camp over a four-week span in late January-early February. Thompson will coordinate the clinic, which strives to help athletes of all ages and ability levels prepare for their upcoming spring seasons by improving their foot speed and quickness, core strength and overall agility and athleticism.
