 Two-year letterman brings needed height, speed and upper-class experience to the Bears’ receiving corps … Did not participate in spring scrimmages due to a leg injury.

2009: Played in eight games in his second active season at Missouri State … Snagged one pass for 39 yards in 35-10 home win over Murray State (9/19/09).

2008: Played in all 11 games as a redshirt freshman, collecting five receptions in the last seven games for 51 yards ... Had one reception in five different games, including a season-long 23-yard catch vs. Southern Illinois (10/25/08) ... Collected a 12-yard first-down catch in road win at Indiana State (11/22/08).

2007: Redshirted his first year at Missouri State ... Earned Offensive Scout Team Player of the Week for Kansas State game (9/15/07).

High School: Was a two-year standout at Fairley High in Memphis, Tenn., for coach Rahman Slocum ... Bulldogs made a playoff appearance and finished 10-3 overall and 5-1 in the conference his senior season in 2006 ... He also won the Tennessee state high jump title (6-foot-8).
