Background: Jessica Depew and high school teammate and Bears freshman Christine Cross led Lee’s Summit High to conference, district, and sectional championships and a state semifinals appearance as seniors this past spring. Depew earned first team all-state, all-district, all-conference, and all-area recognition as a senior. She also earned honorable mention all-metro laurels and was voted to the All Mo-Kan tournament team this past spring. A two-year captain and four-year starter, Depew was a four-time first team all-conference and all-district selection and a two-time all-state pick. She also competed for the KC Dynamos club team and was a member of the Missouri ODP Team from 2003-04. Personal: Jessica is the daughter of Perry and Brenda Depew and was born May 6, 1989.
