Bears Football
The Missouri State Football Radio Network is a multi-station, state-wide network which will carry live broadcasts of Bears’ football in 2009. Springfield radio station KTXR-FM originates broadcasts of all home and away games and will serve as flagship station for the football radio network. Art Hains will provide play-by-play and color commentary for all Bears' games and each broadcast will feature pre-game and post-game comments from Bears’ coach Terry Allen.

Bears Basketball
Springfield station KTXR will again serve as flagship for the Bears Radio Network. The network will carry live broadcasts of all Bears’ games, home and away, with Art Hains describing the action. The broadcasts will feature pre-game and post-game comments from coach Cuonzo Martin and his staff.

Lady Bears Basketball
For the 19th straight year, all Missouri State Lady Bear basketball contests will be broadcast by Springfield radio station KTXR (101.3 FM). All games will air live, with games airing on KWTO (560 AM/98.7FM) in case of conflict with Missouri State men’s games. KTXR will also air any Lady Bear postseason contests. The 2009-10 season marks the 25th straight year that KTXR has aired Lady Bear basketball, with only road games broadcast the first six seasons.
