Became eligible on Dec. 20, 2008 after transferring to Missouri State from Boston University midway through the 2007-08 school year ... Made an immediate impact on the Bears by earning a spot in the starting five in his fourth game with MSU, a 19-point, 11-rebound outburst in the league opener against Illinois State (12/28/08) ... Averaged 16.3 points per game during his first three career starts (12/28/08-1/7/09), including 17 points against Bradley (1/3/09) on 7-of-19 shooting and career-high 33 minutes ... Posted team-highs 15 points and 13 rebounds at Southern Illinois (1/29/09) ... Finished with four points in his first two college games, at George Washington (11/14/07) and in Boston against St. Joseph's (11/17/07) ...  Was a four-year starter for Thomas Edison Prep in Tulsa, Okla ... After leading the state of Oklahoma in rebounding his junior and senior seasons, he was named to the Oklahoma Coaches Association, Max Preps, High Schools Sports Magazine, Tulsa World and Daily Oklahoman all-state team in 2006-07 ... Averaged 23 points, 17 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 blocked shots his senior season for coach Michael Parish ... Also scored a school record 68-percent of his field goal attempts and shot 74% from the line ... Set school records for single-game (26), season (452) and career (1035) rebounding ... Was Oklahoma Tipoff Magazine's preseason state player of the year his senior season, while earning all-district and all-Green County Conference honors for the third time ...
