SPRINGFIELD - Missouri State University has announced a fan "White Out" for the Bears' home basketball game against Nevada on Saturday, Feb. 20. The 2 p.m. contest will be nationally televised on ESPN2 as part of the BracketBusters series, and all fans in attendance are encouraged to wear white for the game to show their Bears' pride during the telecast.
TLC Properties will be providing free shirts for the first 1,000 Missouri State students in attendance.
Other fans planning to attend may wear any white shirt or purchase a white "Bear Pride" t-shirt from the BearWear Team Store at JQH Arena, or the Missouri State Bookstore. The shirts are just $8, beginning Feb. 10. The special shirt will also be available for purchase at the northwest entrance prior to the Feb. 10 and Feb. 20 games, through halftime. Shirt quantities are limited, and no other discounts apply.
Be part of this special JQH Arena event, and wear your white MSU gear as the Bears host the talented Nevada Wolf Pack on Feb. 20.
The Nevada game is also Spirit Squad Poster Day at JQH Arena. A limited number of Sugar Bears and Missouri State Cheer Squad posters will be available as fans enter the Arena. Bears' players and spirit squad members will also be available for autographs following the game.
