At its annual Legacy Day celebration Friday (Aug. 28), Missouri State announced a partnership with Andy's Frozen Custard to develop a frozen treat named in honor of the University.

Andy's, which has 13 locations in four Midwest states, plans to make "Boomer Bear Concrete" available later this fall at its four Springfield stores.  The ingredients for the frozen treat will be developed through an on-line contest which begins this evening and continues through September 14.

The winner of the contest will be announced at the Missouri State football game on Saturday, Sept. 26 against Northern Iowa.
